What changed in this version: First version for every socialDNA product.

1. The short version

2. Your account

  1. You must be at least 18 years old and able to make a contract, for yourself or for the company or family you represent. Where a product offers a supervised profile for a minor (for example the AI Lab family group), it is created and managed by a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms for the minor and is responsible for that use; children under 13 never have an account and we never collect information from them directly.
  2. Every account has a personal group that only you belong to. Teams (your company, your family) are other groups; the owner or administrator of each team decides who is in it and what each person can do.
  3. Keep your devices and sign-in methods safe. What is done with your sign-in counts as done by you until you tell us it was compromised. You can see and end your sessions at any time.
  4. Some functions require a higher identity level (a face check or an ID document). The product tells you which ones before you start, and asks for your separate consent before any face image is captured.

3. What belongs to whom

  1. You keep all rights to what you store. You give us only the permission we need to store it, process it, read it where the product says so (for example, reading a receipt, a statement, a fax with the OCR add-on, or analysing a house photo), show it to the people you or your team allow, and keep backups.
  2. What you create inside a team belongs to that team. If you leave the team, it stays with the team and you lose access.
  3. Records a company keeps about its workers, clients or signers through a product (time cards, pay records, signed contracts and their certificates, estimates and invoices) belong to that company and stay with it for the period labor, tax and commercial laws require, even if the person the record is about closes their account.
  4. You confirm you have the right to store and share what you put in the product, including information about other people — your clients, your workers, the people you message, fax or mail, and the people in your photos.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the products to break the law, to harass or deceive anyone, to send spam or unsolicited advertising, to impersonate someone, to access data you are not allowed to see, or to overload or attack the service. When you use a product to e-mail, text, call, fax or mail other people, you are responsible for having the consent the law requires (for example the US Telephone Consumer Protection Act, CAN-SPAM, the Junk Fax Prevention Act and state laws), for telling the truth when you record that consent, and for honoring every STOP or unsubscribe. We may limit, suspend or close an account that does this, and report it when the law requires.

ByReceipt

Your books. ByReceipt helps you organize receipts and accounts; it does not replace your accountant and we are not a bank or a financial institution. Check the numbers before you file taxes. Receipts and bank or card statements you add are read automatically by AI models in our own cloud project (not used to train models); you can add a file without reading where the product offers it. If two people upload the same file, it becomes one shared record and deleting your copy removes your access only. Webhooks you configure receive receipt and transaction data at the address you choose.

5. Plans, payments and cancellation

  1. Each product shows its plans and prices before you confirm. Taxes are added where the law requires.
  2. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew until you cancel; you can cancel inside the account and keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
  3. Free trials end on the date shown. Nothing is charged at the end of a trial unless you chose a paid plan.
  4. If a change we make substantially reduces what you paid for, you may cancel and receive a refund of the unused part.

6. AI and automatic reading

Some features use AI to read files, suggest data or draft text: reading receipts and statements, reading received faxes with the OCR add-on, measuring houses from photos and aerial images, translating job-site messages, transcribing voice notes, and running the agents of AI Lab, AI Studio and COWORK. It happens when you add the file or send the message to a feature that says so, inside your plan. Results can be wrong: review them before you rely on them. Our AI providers (Google and Anthropic) process your content only to give you the result and do not use it to train their models; we never enable "improve the model" or data-sharing options with any provider.

7. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep the products available and secure, but we do not promise they will never be interrupted. We may add, change or remove features. We give at least 30 days' notice of changes to these terms that reduce your rights, and we ask you to accept them again when you sign in.

8. Closing your account

You can close your account at any time, in any product, on the page "Delete your account". You are signed out of every device at once, and you have 30 days to change your mind before what is only yours is erased. Before closing an account for anything other than abuse or a legal order, we give notice and a chance to download your data.

9. Responsibility

To the extent the law allows: the products are provided "as is"; we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses or lost profits; and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the product in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA. Before going to court, write to support@socialdna.app and we will try to solve it within 30 days. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Virginia, unless the law of the place where you live gives you the right to another court.
